A must for beginners visiting Kootenay Lake! Learn how to launch, land, stroke, self and assisted rescues from instructors. A prerequisite for nonexperienced paddlers who would like to rent kayaks and venture out onto Kootenay Lake solo or with friends with no kayak experience.

For those experienced outdoor friends, we offer kayak rentals from May until October. To ensure availability of kayaks we recommend that you phone ahead to make a reservation 250-353-1927 or contact us by email.

At Kaslo Kayaking we use Current Design rotomolded kayaks. All kayak rentals include: life jackets, pumps, paddle floats, tow lines, nylon spray skirts, paddles and a spare. NOTE: To rent a single kayak, knowledge and experience of a self rescue is required.
